Biography

Lance Hendrickson was born in Orlando, Florida on the 14 of May, 2002. He is currently 12 years old.

He was exposed to music by his parents since birth.

He first began writing music in 2008, in his sister's room. This period is known as the "Dark Period", due to the fact that only two works survive from this period. However, as many as ten works may have existed at this time. Hendrickson himself recalls an unnammed piano piece that he "could not rearrange if he tried". Though, for all intensive purposes, the works TRIO I and RAG I are the only surviving compositions from this period.

Later, around 2011, Hendrickson began to experiment with jazz. This period is known as the "Discovery Period", due to the fact that Hendrickson's discovery of his true musical talent began around this time. He wrote one jazz piece, but it was lost. He decided to not write jazz pieces and "play them anyway", due to his love of improvisation and natural talent for avant-garde performance.

Sometime around 2012, Hendrickson began to write music more seriously, increasing his output over one-hundredfold. This period is known as the "Renaissance Period", because most of his inspiration struck in this period. His first complete work from this period is HARPSICHORD BAGATELLE, although there were many other unfinished harpsichord pieces before this. As of this writing, Hendrickson is still in this period.

Hendrickson hopes to one day become a well-known conductor and composer and distribute the gifts of music to all of the world.
